Privacy policy

Your research is your business.

This policy describes how UPX DMA handles information across its market-research app and this website. It is written to make the important points easy to find.

Last updated: July 2026Effective: July 2026No account required

A short version

UPX DMA does not require an account for ordinary use. Watchlist and display preferences may be kept on your device. Information you choose to send for support is used to respond to you, and we do not sell personal information.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the UPX DMA application, website, and support communications that link to it. It does not govern third-party websites, market-data sources, device platforms, or services that have their own policies.

UPX DMA provides market snapshots, breadth summaries, research tools, and learning material for informational and educational purposes. The app is not a brokerage, does not execute trades, and does not request brokerage credentials.

2. Information we process

The information involved depends on how you use UPX DMA. Ordinary research does not require you to create a profile.

Please do not include financial account numbers, passwords, government identifiers, health details, or other sensitive personal information in support messages.

3. How information is used

  • Provide requested market views, search results, watchlist functions, and learning content.
  • Maintain settings on your device where local storage is available.
  • Respond to support requests and follow up on technical reports.
  • Protect the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot performance or reliability problems.
  • Understand aggregate feature performance without building an advertising profile.
  • Comply with lawful requests and protect users, the public, and UPX DMA.

We do not use your watchlist to provide individualized investment advice. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. When information may be shared

UPX DMA does not sell or rent personal information. Limited information may be made available to service providers that support hosting, market-data delivery, security, diagnostics, or customer support. They are expected to process it only for the contracted service.

This website may load a photograph from Unsplash on non-policy pages. When that asset loads, the image provider may receive standard request data such as an IP address, browser type, and referring page under its own privacy practices.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect rights and safety. If the service is reorganized, relevant information may transfer with the business subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

5. Storage and retention

Locally stored watchlists and preferences remain on your device until you remove them, clear app or browser storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing local data may permanently remove those settings.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain a useful record, address disputes, and meet legal obligations. Security and diagnostic records are retained for a limited period appropriate to their operational purpose, then deleted or aggregated.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also be able to withdraw consent and appeal a response.

  • Remove a symbol from your watchlist or clear locally stored app data through your device controls.
  • Decline to provide optional support information or attachments.
  • Contact [email protected] to make a privacy request.

We may need to verify a request before acting on it. Authorized agents may submit a request where local law permits. You may contact your local data-protection authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.

7. Security, transfers, and age limits

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms or other safeguards intended to protect that information.

UPX DMA is a general-audience market research tool and is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

8. Policy changes

We may revise this policy as features, practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site when appropriate.

9. Privacy contact
